Dal Lake
The most famous imagery of Srinagar is a Shikara cruising on Dal Lake amidst the picturesque bliss of majestic Himalayas. Crowned as the urban lake, Dal Lake with its shoreline of 15.5 km is the second largest lake of the state. Often referred to as a "Srinagar's Jewel", this lake is an important source for commercial operations in fishing and water plant harvesting besides Shikara or Houseboat. The beauty of this lake is accentuated with Mughal era gardens, parks, houseboats and hotels. Char Chinar on the island in the middle of Dal Lake captivates everyone.
Parks and Gardens
The city of gardens, Srinagar is famous for Mughalian lawns featuring pools, fountains and canals inside them. Shalimar Gardens are the apogee of Mughal horticulture including artificial streams and pavilions. Nishat Bagh is adorned by mighty Chinar Trees. Pari Mahal resembles like a fort than a garden inclusive of tall masonry arches offering majestic views of the city.
Hazratbal
Located on the lakeshore of Old Srinagar, Hazratbal Shrine’s white edifice is a majestic mosque known to preserve the hair of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. Considered to be one of the holiest Islamic shrines, a visit to Hazratbal is a must do thing Srinagar’s tour.
Shankaracharya Temple
The Shankaracharya Temple is an ancient temple perched on Gopadari Hill dedicated to Lord Shiva. Considered as the oldest Hindu Shrine in Srinagar, the temple’s architectural beauty and magnificent specimen is a delight to watch. Its pinnacle rises up to more than a thousand feet above in the sky and commands a panoramic view of the city.
Wular Lake
Located in the towns of Bandipore and Sopore, Wular Lake is 60 kilometers away from the city of Srinagar. One of the largest fresh water lakes in Asia, Wular Lake changes its character after every few miles of its course. Its size too varies from 12 to 100 square miles (30 to 260 square kilometers), depending on the season.

By air Sheikh Ul Alam Airport or Srinagar airport is approximately 14 km away from the city center is accessible from all major cities in India and world.
By train Srinagar is connected by railway network via 305 km away Jammu Tawi station. Trains from all over India connect the station and further route can be explored by well defined roadways.
By Road The main highway, National Highway 1-A connects Srinagar with Jammu. Another way extends through Manali in Himachal Pradesh up to Leh.

Gulmarg

Anantnag

The famous Anantnag Bhawan Complex consists of two Shiva Temples, a Radha Krishen Mandir, a Durga Temple, a Ganesh Temple, a Sita Ram Temple, Hanuman Temple, four Dharmshallas and one school building. Pahalgam
Apart from being the base point for pious Amarnath Yatra, Shepherd’s Village of Pahalgam is a Heaven on Earth with misty hills, gushing rapids, shades of pines and fresh cool winds. Its 18 hole golf course serves as a host for many golf championships.
Leh
Leh - Roof of the world, Leh is a jumping off point for treks and adventures around Ladakh. Presently Leh is located in state of Jammu and Kashmir and is the second largest district after Kutch in terms of area. Famous for monasteries, Leh is also famous for its monasteries and a royal mansion modeled on the Potala Palace in Tibet.
Jammu
The city of temples, Jammu is the largest city and serves as the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The skyline of Jammu is dotted with many temples, glittering shikhars making it a divine city. Vaishno Devi is the most visited pilgrim shrine in the district.
Patni Top
Enveloped by Cedar and Deodar forests, Patnitop is quaint hill station famous as honeymooner’s paradise. In extreme snowfall, the whole town gets covered up under the thick snow blanket, therefore, providing ample opportunities for snow games including skiing.
